Staff

Rudy Duran is our diving “Guru” with 30+ years experience instructing and leading divers to an endless array of dive sights and he does his best so that you leave with an unforgettable experience making you want to come again.

Adrian Duran is a young member of our team and is following in his father footsteps. He is currently a boat captain and also a dive master. He was born and raised in the island and he makes the underwater water world a part of him.

Rudy Duran Jr. is also following in his father’s footsteps and has been a part of the team for over 3 years. He’s a boat captain, divemaster and has learned the ways from his Dad growing up at the dive shop.

Our Boats

Island divers Belize is equipped with three very nice and beautifully maintained boats.

Our newest pride and joy is a custom made 38 foot diving and adventure special. She is set up for diving and for making the 2 hr. trip from San Pedro Town to the famous Blue Hole and the Turneffe Atoll a fun and comfortable experience. The forward section of this beautiful boat is covered in the event of unfavorable weather and there is a private head in the prow. She will safely carry plenty of air tanks and equipment for up to 12 divers plus crew. This boat is equipped with two 200 H.P. outboards.

Our 30 foot boat is ideal for local dives and can safely accommodate up to 8 divers and crew. This boat is set up for diving the numerous sites all along the reef as well as snorkeling trips to Hol Chan marine sanctuary and Shark Ray Alley. She is equipped with two 115 H.P. outboards.

Our 28′ fishing boat is fitted with a live bait well and is set up for four fishermen or women. Within 15 minutes of leaving our dock you will be angling for snapper, barracuda and grouper along the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere.
